Description

Sweet, nutty, and warmly spiced, these Honey Cinnamon Roll-Ups are a quick treat perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a cozy snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups ground walnuts, toasted

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup honey, plus extra for drizzling

  • 8 sheets phyllo dough (or puff pastry/tortillas)

  • 3 tablespoons melted butter


Instructions

  1. Toast walnuts until fragrant, then grind them finely in a food processor. Mix with sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.

  2. Lay out one sheet of phyllo, brush lightly with melted butter, and sprinkle with the walnut mixture. Drizzle with a touch of honey.

  3. Roll tightly into a log, then slice into 1–2 inch pieces. Repeat with remaining dough and filling.

  4. Arrange pieces seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18–22 minutes, or until golden brown.

  6. Drizzle with honey while warm, allow to cool slightly, and serve.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze unbaked roll-ups for later. Pair with tea or coffee for a cozy treat.
