Description
Quick and flavorful chicken stir fry with tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and a sweet-savory honey garlic sauce.
Ingredients
• 2 tablespoons oil, divided
• 2 cups broccoli florets
• 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
• 1/4 cup water
• 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
-
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add broccoli and sauté for 3–4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Remove and set aside.
-
Add remaining oil to the skillet and cook chicken pieces for 5–6 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
-
Push chicken to one side, add minced garlic, and sauté for 30–45 seconds until fragrant.
-
Stir in soy sauce, water, and honey, cooking for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the chicken.
-
Return broccoli to the skillet, toss to combine, and cook for 1–2 more minutes. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or sriracha. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Serve with rice, quinoa, or noodles.
