Description

A rich, fudgy brownie bread topped with warm hot fudge for the ultimate chocolate indulgence. Perfect for dessert or gifting.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and sugar until pale, then add melted butter and vanilla, mixing well.

  4. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.

  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.

  6. Allow the loaf to cool slightly, then drizzle with warm hot fudge before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra richness, fold in chocolate chips or chopped nuts before baking. Store at room temperature for 2–3 days or freeze slices for up to 2 months.
