Description

Crispy Hot Honey Air Fryer Salmon Bites with sweet heat, buttery sauce, and bold seasoning—quick, flavorful, and irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale

Salmon Bites

  • 1 lb salmon, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ⅓ cup plain gluten-free breadcrumbs (not Italian seasoned)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Hot Honey Sauce

  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • ¼ cup hot honey (such as Mike’s Hot Honey)
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (or more to taste)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the salmon chunks dry with paper towels to help them crisp properly.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the salmon with oil until evenly coated.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Gently toss the salmon chunks in the breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated.
  6. Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between pieces.
  7. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
  8. While the salmon cooks, whisk together all hot honey sauce ingredients until smooth.
  9. Transfer cooked salmon to a bowl and drizzle with the hot honey sauce, tossing gently to coat.
  10. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed.

Adjust cayenne to control spice level.

Serve with rice, salad, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
