Ingredients
-
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
1/2 tsp salt
-
1/4 tsp black pepper
-
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
-
4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
-
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
-
1 tbsp lemon juice
-
1/4 tsp garlic powder
-
1/4 cup honey
-
1–2 tsp hot sauce (like sriracha or chili flakes, to taste)
-
Chopped parsley or thyme, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
-
Prepare the Chicken:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel to remove any moisture. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. -
Cook the Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. You can also check the internal temperature, which should reach 165°F (75°C). Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. -
Make the Feta-Cream Cheese Mixture:
In a small mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta, softened cream cheese, lemon juice, and garlic powder. Mix well until the ingredients are smooth and creamy. -
Prepare the Hot Honey Glaze:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the honey and hot sauce (adjust the amount of hot sauce to your taste). Stir constantly for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is well combined and slightly thickened. -
Assemble the Dish:
Spread the feta-cream cheese mixture generously on top of each chicken breast. Drizzle the hot honey glaze over the top. -
Bake:
Transfer the skillet with the chicken back into the oven and bake for 5-10 minutes, just until the cheese starts to melt and the glaze is bubbly. -
Garnish and Serve:
Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley or thyme. Serve hot with your favorite side dish!
