Description

Fun, spooky, and delicious, these ghost-shaped Jello shots are perfect for any Halloween gathering. Using green apple gelatin and vodka (or water), they are easy to make, visually exciting, and customizable with black food coloring for an extra eerie effect.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3.94-ounce box green apple gelatin (I used Sonic brand)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ½ cup vodka or cold water
  • Ghost mold
  • Black food coloring (optional)
  • Non-stick spray

Instructions

  • Boil 1 cup of water.
  • Stir in the green apple gelatin until fully dissolved.
  • Add ½ cup of vodka (or cold water for non-alcoholic versions) and stir.
  • Lightly spray the ghost mold with non-stick spray.
  • Optional: Add a few drops of black food coloring for a darker, spookier effect.
  • Pour the mixture into the mold and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
  • Once firm, gently remove the Jello ghosts from the mold and serve.

Notes

  • You can swap out vodka for a flavored liqueur to enhance the taste.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, simply replace vodka with cold water.
