Ingredients
â–©4 cod fillets or other white fish, 6 ounces each
▩¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
â–©2 cloves garlic, minced
â–©1 teaspoon garlic powder
â–©1 teaspoon onion powder
â–©Zest from one lemon
â–©2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
▩¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
â–©1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
â–©1 lemon, sliced
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
2. Arrange the cod fillets in a single layer in the dish. Pat them dry with a paper towel to ensure the sauce adheres better.
3. Mix the lemon butter sauce. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon zest, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
4. Pour the sauce evenly over the cod fillets, making sure they are well coated. Add lemon slices on top or around the fillets.
5. Bake uncovered for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
