- 1 pound extra lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- ½ cup seasoned bread crumbs
- ⅓ cup skim milk
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 ½ tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 ½ teaspoons Italian seasoning
- ¾ teaspoon dried oregano
- ¾ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot®), or to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine extra lean ground beef, diced onion, bread crumbs, skim milk, and Parmesan cheese.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, dried oregano, crushed red pepper flakes, sea salt, and garlic salt.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. Add hot pepper sauce to taste.
- Shape the mixture into 1 ½-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, increase the amount of crushed red pepper flakes or hot pepper sauce.
