Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups crushed buttery crackers
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in shredded chicken until evenly coated.
- Spread mixture into the casserole dish and smooth the top.
- In a separate bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, stir in 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese before baking. Add cooked broccoli for a complete one-dish meal. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for 3–4 days.
