Description

 Fudgy brownies layered with creamy coconut filling and topped with rich chocolate, just like the classic Mounds candy bar. Perfect for parties or sweet cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (9×13 size), prepared and baked as directed
  • 5 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil or butter (optional, for smoother chocolate topping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare and bake the brownie mix in a 9×13 pan according to package directions. Let cool completely. 
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded coconut and sweetened condensed milk until thick and sticky. Spread evenly over cooled brownies. 
  3. Melt chocolate chips (with coconut oil or butter if using) in the microwave or over a double boiler until smooth. Spread evenly over the coconut layer. 
  4. Refrigerate 1–2 hours, or until chocolate is set. Slice into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

For clean cuts, use a warm knife wiped between slices. Store brownies covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 2 months.
