- 4 oz mozzarella cheese, freshly shredded
- 2 oz Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 8 oz pepperoni slices, with 2 slices reserved for the eyes
- 5 sticks whole milk mozzarella string cheese, cold
- 2 black olive slices
Instructions
- Prepare the Cheese Base
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, Italian seasoning, shredded mozzarella, and grated Parmesan. Mix until well blended and creamy. - Layer the Dip
Spread the cheese mixture evenly in a shallow serving dish or pie plate. - Add the Pepperoni Strips
Tear or cut most of the pepperoni slices into thin strips. Arrange these strips across the cheese mixture in overlapping horizontal and vertical lines to mimic mummy bandages. - Create the String Cheese Bandages
Peel or slice the mozzarella string cheese into thin strips. Layer these strips over the pepperoni to add texture and complete the mummy wrap effect. - Add the Eyes
Place the two reserved whole pepperoni slices side-by-side near the top center of the dip. Top each with a black olive slice to form the mummy’s eyes. - Serve
Serve immediately with crackers, toasted baguette slices, or vegetable sticks for dipping.

For best results, let cream cheese soften to room temperature before mixing to avoid lumps.
You can make this dip a few hours ahead and refrigerate — just add the eyes before serving.
