Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it. 
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and milk. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves completely. 
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil for 2–3 minutes, stirring often, until slightly thickened. 
  4. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth and creamy. 
  5. Quickly pour into the prepared dish and spread evenly. 
  6. Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

 Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week, or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Freeze up to 3 months for make-ahead treats.
