- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil for 2–3 minutes, stirring often, until slightly thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
- Quickly pour into the prepared dish and spread evenly.
- Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm. Cut into squares and serve.
