  • Author: Sarah White
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 burgers 1x

Description

Juicy beef burgers layered with crispy bacon, creamy beer cheese, and tucked inside soft pretzel buns. A true Oktoberfest-inspired feast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 cup beer cheese (German-style preferred)
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 4 soft pretzel buns
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Shape ground beef into 4 patties, season with salt and pepper, and press a small indent in the center of each.
  2. Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, then set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
  3. Heat a skillet or grill pan and cook patties 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
  4. Warm beer cheese in a small saucepan, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  5. Toast pretzel buns lightly in the oven or skillet to enhance texture.
  6. Assemble burgers with patties, bacon, and a generous drizzle of beer cheese. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, add caramelized onions, mustard, or sauerkraut. Store cooked patties in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat before serving.
