One-Pan Butter Parmesan Pasta

Description

Creamy, cheesy, and ready in just 20 minutes, this one-pan pasta is the perfect comfort food for busy weeknights. Easy cleanup, big flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups dry ditalini pasta

  • 2 ½ to 3 cups chicken broth

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ⅓ cup heavy cream

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. Stir in the ditalini pasta and pour in 2 ½ cups chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, for 8–10 minutes until pasta is al dente. Add extra broth if needed.

  3. Reduce heat to low, then stir in the remaining butter and heavy cream. Mix until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the pasta.

  4. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

 For extra protein, add cooked chicken, shrimp, or bacon. Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat with a splash of broth or cream.
