Description
Fun and spooky Oreo & Reese’s Bats for Halloween—easy, no-bake treat kids love making and eating.
Ingredients
Scale
- 10 mini Reese’s cups
- 5 Oreo cookies
- 20 candy eyes
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
Instructions
- Gently twist apart the Oreo cookies to separate them into halves. Use a knife to carefully scrape off the cream filling.
- Cut each Oreo half into two equal “wings” by slicing down the middle. Each Oreo will give you four wings.
- Unwrap the mini Reese’s cups and place them upside down (narrow side down) on a tray or plate.
- Spread a tiny dab of peanut butter on the top edges of the Reese’s cup.
- Press one Oreo wing on each side of the Reese’s cup, sticking them into the peanut butter to form bat wings.
- Add another dab of peanut butter to the front of the cup and attach two candy eyes.
- Allow the bats to rest for a few minutes so the peanut butter sets and holds everything in place.
Notes
If the Oreo cookies break while cutting, don’t worry—just glue them back together with a little peanut butter.
Chilling the finished bats for 10 minutes in the fridge helps them hold their shape better before serving.
You can swap peanut butter for chocolate frosting if you need a nut-free option.
