Description
A cheesy, hearty twist that combines lasagna and bacon cheeseburgers into one irresistible dish. Perfect for family dinners or potlucks.
Ingredients
- Â 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- 12 lasagna noodles (traditional or no-boil)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned, drain excess fat, then stir in garlic and marinara sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Fry the bacon until crispy, drain on paper towels, and chop into bite-sized pieces.
- In a saucepan, melt butter, sauté garlic, add cream, and whisk in Parmesan until smooth and thickened. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Cook lasagna noodles in salted water until al dente (if not using no-boil), then drain and lay flat.
- Assemble by layering meat sauce, noodles, garlic Parmesan sauce, bacon, and cheeses in a greased 9×13 dish. Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For added flavor, mix cheddar and mozzarella for the top layer. Lasagna can be prepared a day ahead and baked before serving. Leftovers store well in the fridge for 3–4 days or can be frozen for up to 3 months.
