  • Author: Sarah White

Description

Peanut Butter White Chocolate Bark is rich, creamy, and packed with Reese’s Pieces crunch. A perfect no-bake candy for peanut butter lovers!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces (454g) white chocolate, coarsely chopped and divided
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil, divided
  • 1 cup (250g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup (56g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup (120g) confectioners’ sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (100g) chopped Reese’s Pieces candies

Instructions

  1. Prepare your pan
Line an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch square pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving overhang for easy removal.
  2. Melt half the white chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 8 oz (227g) of the white chocolate with 1/2 tsp vegetable oil. Microwave in 20-second increments, stirring between each, until smooth and melted. Pour into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until firm.
  3. Make the peanut butter layer
In a medium bowl, mix together peanut butter, softened butter, confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and thick. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the chilled white chocolate base.
  4. Melt the remaining white chocolate
Melt the remaining 8 oz white chocolate with 1/2 tsp vegetable oil the same way as before. Once melted and smooth, pour over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
  5. Top with Reese’s Pieces
While the top layer of chocolate is still wet, sprinkle chopped Reese’s Pieces across the surface. Gently press them in so they adhere.
  6. Chill to set
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until completely firm. Once set, lift the bark out of the pan using the parchment overhang and break into pieces.

Notes

Use high-quality white chocolate for best flavor and smooth melting. Avoid candy melts unless needed for stability.

Adjust salt if your peanut butter is salted. You may want to reduce or omit added salt.

Don’t rush the chilling steps—each layer needs time to firm up before adding the next.

Store in layers with parchment between to prevent sticking once broken into pieces.
