Cheesy Pizza Muffins Recipe: Easy Snack or Appetizer

  • Author: Sarah White

Description

Easy cheesy Pizza Muffins made with crescent dough, pepperoni, and mozzarella—perfect party appetizers or family-friendly snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 (8-oz) tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough sheets
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2¼ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (5-oz) package mini pepperoni, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp garlic butter, melted
  • Italian seasoning
  • Grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prep the pan and oven. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a muffin tin lightly with cooking spray.
  2. Prepare the dough. Unroll each crescent dough sheet and cut into even rectangles or squares.
  3. Add filling. Spread pizza sauce onto each piece of dough. Add mozzarella and chopped mini pepperoni.
  4. Roll up. Roll each dough piece into a log, then cut into small spirals or fold into muffin-friendly bundles.
  5. Fill the tin. Place each portion into the muffin tin cups, pressing lightly to shape.
  6. Bake. Bake 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling.
  7. Finish. Brush with melted garlic butter, sprinkle with Italian seasoning, and top with grated parmesan.
  8. Serve warm. Enjoy as-is or with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Use crescent sheets, not perforated rolls—easier and cleaner.

Chop mini pepperonis for better distribution.

Let the muffins cool 5 minutes for easier removal.
