Pumpkin Patch Brownie Bites

Pumpkin Patch Brownie Bites – Easy and Adorable Halloween Treats

  • Author: Sarah White

Description

These Pumpkin Patch Brownie Bites are bite-sized chocolate treats topped with green frosting “vines” and candy pumpkins. Quick, cute, and festive—perfect for Halloween parties or fall gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 brownie bites (store-bought or homemade – see note)
  • 1 can vanilla frosting
  • Green food coloring
  • 36 Mellowcreme Pumpkins (candy corn pumpkins)

Note: You can use mini brownie bites from the bakery section or bake a batch of brownies in a mini muffin pan and let them cool completely before decorating.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the frosting: Spoon the vanilla frosting into a bowl and add a few drops of green food coloring. Stir until you achieve your desired shade of green—vibrant grass green looks best for the pumpkin “vines.”
  2. Transfer to a piping bag: Scoop the tinted frosting into a piping bag fitted with a small round or leaf tip (a zip-top bag with a small snipped corner also works).
  3. Pipe the vines: Pipe small swirls or squiggles of green frosting on top of each brownie bite to mimic vines or leaves.
  4. Add the pumpkins: Press one Mellowcreme pumpkin gently into the center of each frosted brownie bite so it sticks securely.
  5. Optional decoration: Add chocolate cookie crumbs or crushed Oreos around the pumpkin for a “dirt” effect, or pipe extra vines for a fuller patch look.
  6. Serve and enjoy! Arrange your brownies on a platter or tray—they look especially cute when grouped together to resemble a little pumpkin field.

Notes

If making homemade brownie bites, bake them in a mini muffin tin for about 10–12 minutes (depending on your recipe). Let them cool completely before decorating to prevent the frosting from melting.
