Description

A buttery, golden cobbler filled with sweet pineapple chunks and creamy cream cheese pockets. Perfectly comforting, tropical, and easy to bake.


Ingredients

  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks, drained

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup suga

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish and let it melt while the oven heats.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, 1 cup sugar, milk, and egg until smooth.

  3. Pour batter evenly over the melted butter in the dish. Do not stir.

  4. Spread pineapple chunks evenly over the batter.

  5. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with 1/4 cup sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture across the pineapple layer.

  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat gently before serving.
