Slider Filling
- 1 lb ground turkey or ground beef
- 1 cup ketchup
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp brown mustard
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
Slider Assembly
- 12 King’s Hawaiian rolls, split
Decorating Ingredients
- Cherry tomatoes
- Black olives
- White sliced cheese
- Raisins
- Pretzel twists
Instructions
- Cook the Meat
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground turkey or beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed. - Make the Sauce
Add ketchup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, brown mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to the skillet. Stir well. - Simmer
Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick and saucy. - Prepare the Rolls
Split Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place bottoms on a baking sheet. - Assemble the Sliders
Spoon meat mixture evenly over the roll bottoms. Add sliced white cheese if desired, then place roll tops on. - Warm (Optional)
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes to warm through and melt cheese slightly. Cool briefly before decorating. - Decorate as Reindeer
- Cherry tomatoes = noses
- Raisins or olive pieces = eyes
- Pretzel twists = antlers
- Cheese cutouts = inner ears
- Olives = pupils or details
- Serve
Arrange on a platter and serve immediately.
