Reindeer Cheeseburger Sliders made with sweet-savory beef, melty cheese, and adorable edible decorations—perfect for holiday parties.


Ingredients

Slider Filling

  • 1 lb ground turkey or ground beef
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp brown mustard
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Slider Assembly

  • 12 King’s Hawaiian rolls, split

Decorating Ingredients

  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Black olives
  • White sliced cheese
  • Raisins
  • Pretzel twists

Instructions

  1. Cook the Meat
    In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground turkey or beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Make the Sauce
    Add ketchup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, brown mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to the skillet. Stir well.
  3. Simmer
    Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick and saucy.
  4. Prepare the Rolls
    Split Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place bottoms on a baking sheet.
  5. Assemble the Sliders
    Spoon meat mixture evenly over the roll bottoms. Add sliced white cheese if desired, then place roll tops on.
  6. Warm (Optional)
    Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes to warm through and melt cheese slightly. Cool briefly before decorating.
  7. Decorate as Reindeer
    • Cherry tomatoes = noses
    • Raisins or olive pieces = eyes
    • Pretzel twists = antlers
    • Cheese cutouts = inner ears
    • Olives = pupils or details
  8. Serve
    Arrange on a platter and serve immediately.

Notes

Let sliders cool slightly before decorating so toppings stay in place.
