- 1½ cups semisweet or dark chocolate chips
- 1½ cups creamy peanut butter
- 5 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1½ cups mini pretzels, broken into pieces
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1½ cups red and green M&Ms
- 1 cup mini peanut butter cups
Instructions
- Melt chocolate and peanut butter.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and melted. This usually takes about 1½ minutes total. - Coat the cereal.
Place the Rice Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl. Pour the melted chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the cereal and gently fold until every piece is evenly coated. - Add pretzels.
Stir in the broken mini pretzel pieces for an extra salty crunch. - Shake with powdered sugar.
Transfer the mixture to a large zip-top bag or container with a lid. Add the powdered sugar, seal, and shake until everything is coated and no chocolatey spots remain. - Mix in festive candies.
Pour the coated cereal mixture into a large serving bowl and stir in the M&Ms and mini peanut butter cups. Mix gently to distribute evenly. - Serve or store.
Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
