Description

Try these Seafood Boil Noodles! A savory shrimp and sausage ramen dish with a buttery, spicy sauce and a twist of seafood boil flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 lb of raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 beef sausage links (or your preferred type)

  • 2 boiled eggs

  • 1 pack of ramen noodles

  • 3 tbsp of butter

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 2 tbsp of brown sugar

  • 1 tsp of Old Bay seasoning & Cajun seasoning

  • 1 tsp of unsalted lemon pepper

  • 1/4 tsp crab boil (optional)

  • 1 tsp of oregano

  • Paprika & onion powder to taste

  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Noodles:
Boil the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain the noodles and set them aside, reserving a little bit of the noodle water.

  2. Cook the Sausage:
While the noodles are boiling, slice the beef sausage into bite-sized pieces. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the sausage slices for 5-7 minutes until they’re browned and cooked through. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.

  3. Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.

  4. Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the brown sugar, Old Bay seasoning, Cajun seasoning, lemon pepper, crab boil (if using), oregano, paprika, and onion powder. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to combine all the flavors.

  5. Combine the Noodles:
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing them in the sauce to coat evenly. If needed, add a splash of the reserved noodle water to help the sauce adhere to the noodles. Add the sausage and shrimp back into the skillet, mixing everything together.

  6. Add Boiled Eggs:
Slice the boiled eggs in half and add them on top of the noodles for a creamy texture.

  7. Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with chopped green onions for a burst of freshness and serve immediately.
