  • Author: Sarah White
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Creamy pasta tossed with tender shrimp, sweet crab meat, and a rich garlic-Parmesan sauce. Elegant yet easy for weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz rotini, penne, or preferred pasta

  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 cup crab meat

  • 1/2 cup chopped celery

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil, cook pasta until al dente, then drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.

  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter. Add celery and garlic, sauté until softened and fragrant.

  3. Stir in cream and Parmesan, simmer gently until sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

  4. Add shrimp and crab, tossing gently to coat with sauce. Warm through without overcooking.

  5. Combine pasta with sauce and seafood, adding a splash of reserved pasta water if needed. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.

Notes

Best served fresh, but leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days. Reheat gently with a splash of milk or broth. Pairs beautifully with a green salad and garlic bread.
