Description
Crispy egg rolls filled with cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, and spicy jalapeños. The perfect appetizer for parties or game nights.
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4–5 fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely diced
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Pinch of salt
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, jalapeños, and seasonings until smooth and combined.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, place 2–3 tablespoons of filling in the center, and shape into a log.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly. Seal the edge with water.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a skillet or fryer. Fry rolls in small batches for 3–4 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with ranch, spicy mayo, or sweet chili sauce.
Notes
For a lighter option, bake at 400°F for 15–18 minutes or air fry at 375°F for 10–12 minutes. Freeze assembled rolls before cooking for easy make-ahead appetizers.
