Spicy Jalapeño Popper Egg Rolls

Description

Crispy egg rolls filled with cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, and spicy jalapeños. The perfect appetizer for parties or game nights.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 4–5 fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely diced

  • 12 egg roll wrappers

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • Vegetable oil, for frying


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, jalapeños, and seasonings until smooth and combined.

  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, place 2–3 tablespoons of filling in the center, and shape into a log.

  3. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly. Seal the edge with water.

  4. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a skillet or fryer. Fry rolls in small batches for 3–4 minutes until golden and crispy.

  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with ranch, spicy mayo, or sweet chili sauce.

Notes

 For a lighter option, bake at 400°F for 15–18 minutes or air fry at 375°F for 10–12 minutes. Freeze assembled rolls before cooking for easy make-ahead appetizers.
