Description

Delicious jalapeños stuffed with a creamy filling, wrapped in crescent dough, and baked to a golden perfection.


Ingredients

  • 10 large jalapeños
  • 1 cup (168g) whipped cream cheese
  • 1 cup (235g) cheddar jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup (115g) chopped bacon (about 5 strips)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • Edible candy eyes (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar jack cheese, bacon, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  • Roll out crescent dough and cut into thin strips; wrap around the filled jalapeños to create a “mummy” look.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  • Add candy eyes before serving, if desired.
