- 10 large jalapeños
- 1 cup (168g) whipped cream cheese
- 1 cup (235g) cheddar jack cheese
- 1/2 cup (115g) chopped bacon (about 5 strips)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 can of crescent roll dough
- Edible candy eyes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar jack cheese, bacon, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Roll out crescent dough and cut into thin strips; wrap around the filled jalapeños to create a “mummy” look.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Add candy eyes before serving, if desired.
