- 2 tablespoons green pesto
- Salt to taste
- Pinch of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 12 candy eyes (large)
- Red gel food color
Instructions
- Slice hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks.
- In a bowl, mix the egg yolks, pesto, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spoon or pipe the pesto mixture back into the egg whites.
- Place a candy eye in the center of each yolk mixture.
- Use the red gel food color to draw bloodshot lines radiating from the candy eyes.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.
