- 1 large egg yolk, room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons water, room temperature
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Prepare the brownie layer by melting the butter and chocolate. Mix in cocoa powder, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, and water. Fold in chocolate chips. Spread in prepared pan.
- Prepare the cheesecake layer by beating cream cheese, powdered sugar, and flour. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and orange food coloring until smooth.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture on top of the brownie layer, swirling for a marbled effect if desired.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheesecake layer is set.
