Description

A fun and festive Halloween treat made with salty crackers, caramelized brown sugar, and melted chocolate, topped with an assortment of spooky candies.


Ingredients

  • 35 saltine crackers, around one sleeve
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 10 oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • For decorating:
    • Eye candies
    • Candy corn
    • Reese’s pieces
    • Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange saltine crackers in a single layer.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Pour the caramel mixture over the crackers and bake for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let them sit for 2 minutes to melt, then spread evenly.
  • Add the Halloween decorations: eye candies, candy corn, Reese’s pieces, and sprinkles.
  • Let the crack cool completely, then break into pieces and serve.
