- 17 to 18 pretzel rods
- 1 (12-ounce) bag dark green candy melts
- 17 to 18 sliced almonds
- ½ teaspoon vegetable oil (or substitute with another neutral oil)
Instructions
- Melt the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring between until smooth. Add vegetable oil to thin out the mixture if necessary.
- Dip each pretzel rod into the melted candy, covering it halfway.
- Press a sliced almond onto the top of the pretzel for a spooky “fingernail” effect.
- Place the rods on a parchment-lined tray and let them harden in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes.
Notes
For extra flair, drizzle contrasting colors of candy melts over the rods or sprinkle them with Halloween-themed decorations.
