Description

Scary good Halloween-themed Jello shots inspired by the infamous Michael Myers from the Halloween series. These shots are easy to make, fun to serve, and perfect for adding a creepy twist to your next horror movie night.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup rum
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 13-ounce package strawberry-flavored gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Candy sprinkle knives (Wilton) or candy mold in the shape of knives
  • Jello shot cups

Instructions

  • In a bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
  • Add cold water and rum to the gelatin mixture, stirring until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture evenly into Jello shot cups.
  • Refrigerate for 2-4 hours until firm.
  • Once set, top each Jello shot with candy sprinkle knives or knife-shaped candy mold for a Michael Myers slasher effect.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, replace the rum with an additional 1/2 cup of cold water or fruit juice.
