Description
A festive green cocktail made with Irish whiskey, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and crème de menthe. Perfect for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day!
Ingredients
- 2 oz Irish whiskey (such as Jameson or Tullamore DEW)
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 oz simple syrup (or to taste)
- 1/2 oz green crème de menthe
- Ice cubes
- Lemon wheel or mint sprig, for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add Irish whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and green crème de menthe.
- Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until chilled.
- Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel or mint sprig and serve immediately.
Notes
For a lighter version, top with club soda for a sparkling finish. Make simple syrup ahead by dissolving equal parts sugar and water.
