Taco Ranch Bites Recipe: Easy Party Appetizer

Crispy, cheesy Taco Ranch Bites with beef, cheddar, ranch, and phyllo shells—perfect party appetizers or game-day snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (1-oz) package taco seasoning
  • 1 (10-oz) can diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8-oz) bottle ranch dressing
  • 5 (15-count) frozen phyllo tart shells (total of 75 shells)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven. Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange phyllo shells on a baking sheet.
  2. Cook the beef. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add seasoning and tomatoes. Stir in taco seasoning and the entire can of diced tomatoes with green chiles. Cook until thickened.
  4. Combine filling. Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheddar and ranch dressing. Stir until creamy.
  5. Fill the shells. Spoon the mixture into each phyllo tart shell, filling generously.
  6. Bake. Place in the oven for 8–10 minutes or until the cheese melts and shells are crispy.
  7. Serve warm. Enjoy immediately or let cool slightly for a firmer texture.

Notes

Do not overfill phyllo shells—they crisp better with moderate filling.

Pre-baking empty shells for 3 minutes adds extra crispness.

Use freshly shredded cheese for better melt.
