Description
Crispy, cheesy Taco Ranch Bites with beef, cheddar, ranch, and phyllo shells—perfect party appetizers or game-day snacks.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (1-oz) package taco seasoning
- 1 (10-oz) can diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (8-oz) bottle ranch dressing
- 5 (15-count) frozen phyllo tart shells (total of 75 shells)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven. Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange phyllo shells on a baking sheet.
- Cook the beef. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
- Add seasoning and tomatoes. Stir in taco seasoning and the entire can of diced tomatoes with green chiles. Cook until thickened.
- Combine filling. Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheddar and ranch dressing. Stir until creamy.
- Fill the shells. Spoon the mixture into each phyllo tart shell, filling generously.
- Bake. Place in the oven for 8–10 minutes or until the cheese melts and shells are crispy.
- Serve warm. Enjoy immediately or let cool slightly for a firmer texture.
Notes
Do not overfill phyllo shells—they crisp better with moderate filling.
Pre-baking empty shells for 3 minutes adds extra crispness.
Use freshly shredded cheese for better melt.
