Description

Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet is a rich, garlicky, and buttery chicken dish that’s quick, comforting, and perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika. Let rest for 5 minutes.

  2. Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until melted and slightly foamy.

  3. Add chicken and sear 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Transfer to a plate.

  4. Reduce heat to medium, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  5. Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer 2–3 minutes.

  6. Garnish with parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat gently with extra butter or broth.
