Description

Seven Layer Bars are a rich, layered dessert bar that combines chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, walnuts, and shredded coconut. These bars are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 ⅓ cups shredded coconut

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt the butter and pour it into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs evenly over the butter.
  • Layer the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and walnuts over the crumbs.
  • Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the entire mixture.
  • Sprinkle the shredded coconut on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
  • Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

For easier cutting, refrigerate the bars for an hour. Store them in an airtight container for up to a week.
