A vibrant and flavorful salsa combining sweet corn, bell peppers, and a hint of heat from jalapeños and crushed red pepper.
Ingredients

- 1 (15.25 ounce) can sweet corn, drained
- 1 orange bell pepper, chopped
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro, or more to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon honey
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the drained corn, chopped bell pepper, and chopped red onion.
- Add the minced jalapeño, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and honey.
- Sprinkle in the crushed red pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Adjust seasoning to taste with additional lime juice, salt, or honey as needed.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a smoky flavor, grill the corn and bell pepper before chopping.
- Adjust the level of heat by adding more or less jalapeño and crushed red pepper.
