A simple and delicious recipe for making deer jerky at home.


Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion salt
  • 1 pound boneless venison roast

Instructions

Instructions:

  1. Slice the venison roast into thin strips.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion salt.
  3. Marinate the venison strips in the mixture for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  4. Preheat your oven to 160°F (70°C) or use a food dehydrator.
  5. Arrange the marinated strips on a baking sheet or dehydrator tray.
  6. Dry the strips in the oven or dehydrator for 4-6 hours, or until they reach the desired
